Gaven stared up vacantly at the hatch that Casandra had just hopped through. He waited another several seconds, and as Zane started to step forward, Gaven put a hand on his chest and shook his head. Another dozen heartbeats and the muzzle of a Blaster rifle poked through the hole.
Reaching out with one hand, he pulled the weapon and its operator into the ship, still looking exceptionally bored. When the man tried to struggle to his feet, Gaven planted a heavy boot to his stomach and began to bind the man's hands.
"I am Gaven," He declared to the man. "My team and I will not harm you unless you attempt to raise an alarm or if you make a mess of my vessel. You and your crew will be returned to your employers unharmed. Do you understand?"
The guard spat a mouthful of blood out on the deck of the Fire, prompting another boot from Gaven. "I thought you said no harm?" He gasped.
"I told you not to make a mess of my ship. Tell me how many crew you have and what you are carrying."
The man smiled with bloody teeth. "Five-thousand troops, and six million tons of weapons."
Gaven reached down with a massive fist and smashed it into the man's jaw. Fragments of teeth and more blood skittered across the deck. He reached down with the opposite hand and hauled the man up. "We can do this the hard way, too." He said. "I would generally prefer to set a good example, however. So tell me what I want to know, and I will shove you in your own escape pod and send you happily towards whatever system you wish."
The man spat blood at Gaven, who twitched a finger and sent the gobule back at the man's face with the Force. "Fuck you!" He gasped.
Anger exploded out of the Jedi Master like a torrent. He drove his fist into the man's face, followed with another, and a roundhouse kick that snapped the man's neck like a twig.
Without turning back to the body, Gaven turned to Zane and pointed behind him. "There are comlinks there. Use an earpiece, and begin scouting. If you find -any- evidence of this man's claim, abort the mission and return to the ship. I will locate engineering and circumvent their control of the vessel."
