  • I'm pretty much a derp
Tyranitar is fucking beast. Only issue is it's painfully easy to hard-counter him.

Yeah, there's a word for that.

Honestly complaining about them changing the game and not [/i]changing the game in the same post...I'm not even going to try to argue that point. I'll say that I quite enjoyed the new DW games and leave it at that.

I'll point out two things here.  One, I didn't compain about them changing the game and not changing the game in the same post.  What I did do, however, was first state that what you were discussing with the differences in each Pokemon game were like what has generally been done with the DW series.  Then, after stating a comparison with no implication of negative review, I stated a complaint that they changed the control system, the extras offered, etc.  If my point was unclear, I apologize, but the fact is you misread my post.

I'll clarify some of the et cetera, so the link you gave to invalidate my opinion can be squashed.  The issues I meant, control changing and what not, were also compounded with graphics which seemed to lose quality, the storyline becoming more rushed, and things like combos not going as long.  In a game that's been going since PS2, some of these changes are negative, thereby causing my complaint.  I never said their not changing the game was bad.  I've played every single Dynasty Warriors to come out, and I've enjoyed most of them.  Hell, I even enjoyed the two Dynasy Warriors Gundam and Samurai Warriors games.

The system worked for many games in the series for many years.  The two newest have strayed from what worked, and in terms of gameplay, I believe (read as opinion) they have suffered for it.  If you enjoyed them, awesome; I wasn't attempting to break the leg of a favorite house pet with my opinion.   I’ll restate that my point was based upon the same points that were made for the differences in Pokemon games and note that you had similar complaints (such as beauty contests added in) in your post which weren’t responded to with insults.   Now back to the regularly scheduled non-violent discussion.
