Late Evening
Imperial Citadel
Ketaris

"I think perhaps the Grand Moff has spent too much of his time vying for a position he will never have. You don't have even a remote understanding of what it means to safeguard the borders of your own home, let alone the entire Empire!"

The heavyset Grand Moff glared coldly at the fit Grand General. "You speak as if you have any level of true understanding. You are little more than a pathetic hypocrit. Or shall we review your personal record to discover the truth of the matter?"

The incessant bickering inside the Emperor's conference room within the Citadel was never-ending. The Moff Council had been convened by the ranking Grand Moff, and he had invited the military leadership as was the custom. The individual that they had recently pledged their support for had not been seen or heard from in over a month. With no established intent and the Executor completely missing as well, the Moff Council had been merely maintaining for fear of reprisal.

"Enough!" The Grand Admiral that had been mostly silent spoke now. "This is getting us nowhere! Until now...we have been hesitant to take action for fear of our own lives. This Empire grows stagnant and weak while we wait for a man that may never return. I move that we immediately invoke Imperial Law and appoint a Regent until such a time as an alternate solution can be developed..."

The large wooden doors to the conference room swept open as several individuals dressed in flowing black cloaks with various numbers of silver rings around the right arm flooded the room. Following behind them was a man that nobody recognized, dressed similarly albeit in black and crimson light armor. "I completely agree gentlemen. Now if you'll excuse me... Your services have been much appreciated." Tendrils of blue force lightning erupted forth from the unidentified man's palms and immediately began connecting with the individuals closest to him. At the same time, the soldiers that had accompanied him immediately opened fire on those not having their intestines reduced slag.

The entire episode took maybe fifteen seconds to accomplish. As the room filled with smoke from super-hot barrels, the Sith Lord that had just murdered the entire Moff Council smiled thinly to himself. Reaching into his pocket, he withdrew a communicator. "We're clear."

A deep-voiced response was heard before the man stowed the communicator and turned to depart the chambers.

Seven Days Later
Bast Castle
Vjun

The Sith Lord was dressed in a simple pair of loose-fitting black pants and a somewhat form-fitting, long-sleeved silver shirt.  Cameron Centurion appeared unarmed - as he so often was these days.  His silver-green gaze searched the arid landscape arrayed before the massive fortress that was Bast Castle.  Having arrived almost two weeks earlier with a contingent of Massassi Warriors and Sith Commandos, Cameron had spent the better part of his time unlocking the secrets of the long-ignored Castle.

It was during his time here that Lord Illuminus had received a message from Atraeus.  The man needed to tend to other duties.  Cameron could understand the need for some amount of self-exploration, and the lack of desire to manage the politics of any government.  However, Cameron was loathe to try and find another suitable replacement.  At this point, he merely needed to admit that he'd just have to do it himself.  It was a simple matter to arrange clearance for Lord Crixus to travel to the Imperial Citadel with a small contingent and dispatch all remaining vestages of Lord Immortus' leadership.  Replacing them with individuals approved by Cameron had, in truth, been all too simple.  Many were eager to be vaulted to the highest spheres of leadership, and they were incredibly grateful as such.

As a light coating of acid rain began to fall on the planet, Lord Illuminus remained completely still.  He'd sent for a few people several days earlier.  More specifically, he'd asked them to plan their travel such that they arrived on this particular evening.  They were all individuals of power, of course.  Cameron had little need to interact with any that were not.  Damage enacted by previous iterations of this government's leadership would be, well, repaired today.  No doubt - those he'd invited would request something in return.

Cameron could be accommodating, but the question was did that ever really work out in another's long-term favor?

I am fate.

A request from Cameron came across. In the past such request would have been pushed off to her daughter that handled things she did not want to deal with. It was how Petra managed her time. In the past years, Cameron’s actions and worthiness gained in her book. Of course, big marks was coming to her when she called and going to see her other daughter on Hapes. So she had no issue going to see him on a request.

Petra told her daughter, Kristin where to meet her and the slaves she was bringing to handle things that she did not wish her fingers to touch. Time frame given by Cameron’s request gave her the time to wait for Kristin, after her daughter came to Dathomir they left for Vjun. Then upon arrival of the planet, the two walked out with the drones following. Petra led Kris and the objects as they walked into the castle.

Reaching out with the force to sense who was there, it was also her way announcing herself too. It was the way to do it.

Cameron did not move from his position before the large reinforced glass window.  A small glass of Whyren's Reserve rested on a rather elegeant end table next one of several plush, over-sized sofas in the room.  The room he was in looked...much different than it no doubt had in the past.  Cameron had traveled a great deal and interacted with a number of species throughout the unknown regions.  Evidence of his travel amongst various civilizations was evident in the decor of the room.

As his guests arrived, they would of course be tracked from the massive fortress that was Bast Castle.  However, the only visible security were two Massassi Warriors standing sentry just outside a large, reinforced door.  The overhand protected them from the acidic rain that feel from the sky.  If any were to expand their presence within the Force, they would be able to sense a structure teeming with presences.  However, they would also note that most of those presences resided in the lower levels of the structure, leaving but a small handful on the upper levels.

A servant silently entered the large sitting room that Cameron was occupying.  He said nothing.

"Show the Superior Mother and the Crown Princess here immediately."

No verbal response was heard as the slave bowed, turned, and departed to carry out his master's order.

---------

At the entrance to Bast Castle, the heavy steel doors swung outward as a figure dressed in a crimson cloak stepped out.  Drawing just beside the two Massassi Warriors that towered over him, the man offered a deep, respectful bow to Petra and Kristin.  "Lord Illuminus awaits you in the sitting room.  Please follow me."  Turning, the slave retreated inside at a casual pace.  He did not check to ensure that Petra and Kristin followed.  If either of them elected to evaluate the slave before them, they might sense that he was...alive without truly living.  A body without a soul...perhaps.

The slave guided the two Cavataios up a large, ornate spiraling staircase.  Stepping out onto the landing of the third floor, he then guided them to the end of a long corridor.  Due to the design of Bast Castle, the main entrance was actually on the fifth floor, so it was not a terribly large journey to the highest levels where Lord Illuminus maintained residence.  Arriving at a set of double wooden doors, the slave pushed them open and stepped to the side to allow the two women to enter.  He did not announce their presence, but he did bow to them as they passed.

-----------

A thin smile adorned the Sith Lord's features as he sensed the arrival of...some of his guests.  He was fairly certain Nessarose or...one of her savages would arrive at some point.  That or he would...happily visit them.  To have a very much one-way conversation, however.

As his silver-green gaze fell upon Petra and her daughter, the Sith Lord nodded to the elder and offered a brief glance at the younger, a mischievous glint in his eyes.  "Ah the beautiful Cavataios."  Casually, Cameron approached the two women.  "Breaking hearts..."  Cameron flashed a brief, knowing gaze in Kristin's direction before allowing his gaze to settle back on Petra.  "...wherever they go."  Motioning to any number of available seating options to his right, the Sith Lord offered them the opportunity to get comfortable.  "Please make yourself at home.  Might there be anything I can get you?"

I am fate.

Slave showed them the way where the host of the “party”. This was a place that Petra could say she never visited. It was always off her radar since in her life span this was just a moment the place was used. Walking up the spiraling staircase, it was clear a twisted mind came up with the flooring arrangement. Whatever floor they were on appeared nice. The slave’s bow was more missed by Petra as she looked at Cameron.

Attention on the man, a smile was given to him. Petra walked into the room more while Cameron spoke. The offer to make themselves at home was going to be taken by her. She was Petra after all and lack of her being who she was would have been boring. The long robe that covered her was taken off and handed it over to her slave. Then the naked Petra took her seat, crossing her legs as greeted the man. “Why hello there, Lord Illuminus… good to see you alive and always sweet with your words, but I’m fine for right now.” She had the smile turned into a smirk. “So is Kristin, too.”

Following her mother and the slave, Kristin remained in her head. Travel was always boring to her. Still she was there with her mother to make appearance; however, things got better for her to focus on. Smiling big at Cameron as she took her seat and had to watch her mother get comfortable like she was at home. It was nothing new for her to see her mother naked. Hell, she watched both her mothers played with each other.

Oh Petra...

The Sith Lord resisted the urge to chuckle as the Superior Mother disrobed and took a seat upon one of the plush couches in the room.  Once Kristin had taken her seat as well, he selected a seat for himself across from them.  Ordinarily, Cameron enjoyed getting straight to the point.  However, recent commitments had kept him a bit removed from activity within the Dathomir system - a place that remained forever strong with the power of the Force.  Cameron himself fully understood the desire of Palpatine to keep the Witches quarantined within the system, they could pose a very real threat to his own personal goals and ambitions.

Fortunately, Cameron was a touch more open-minded and a lot less paranoid.  He wanted to cultivate the various powers within the galaxy, not restrain them.  The strong would prevail and the weak would perish.  "Cameron, please.  Hardly a need for formalities between us, my dear."  For a brief moment, Cameron's silver-green gaze rested on Kristin as he smirked.  Shifting his gaze back to Petra, the Sith Lord pressed forward.  "So tell me.  How fare things on Dathomir?  I know you're horribly upset that I don't visit as often."  A soft smile touched Cameron's lips, knowing Petra most certainly preferred outsiders not to randomly traverse her world.

Perhaps even more so now that it was a world that held only one purpose...the worship of Petra Cavataio.  Cameron knew nothing of that thus far, however.

I am fate.

Oh how lovely it would be to tease about the formalities with a push to hear Goddess come from Cameron. It in turned gave Petra a wicked little smile. She had changed a lot over to her cult. It was once done before but it was when everything was a smaller scale. This time it was reaching further out compare from safe areas that Sith could operate in without Republic interfering. The current state this time had a business that fed it people to bring into the cult and expand that way.

Stretching her arms out, she lay them on the top of the couch she was on. One arm resting behind her daughter. “The horribly upset one would be Lauda…” Petra started with and added a chuckle. She knew he had spent more time on Dathomir with Lauda then anyone else. In addition to some promise the two had, those details were not that important but a generalization was known. Of course the first time was she was busy and her daughter handled the meeting.

Continuing on with remarks and answers, Petra did not hold back information. She had no need to hide or lie about her actions. “For Dathomir is how I desire it… clans have been abolished and the last group of witches should be returning to Dathomir with the innate understanding why they need to study even deeper in the force and spend their lives in worship to me as their deity just like all the other organizations I have control over.” As Petra said, all the organizations where part of the cult she had for so long and little to none rejected Petra as their deity.

As the Shiny lazily broke through the planet's atmosphere, there was nothing happening with one of its occupiers that could equally be defined as such. Nessarose deWinter, laying on her bed in the tiny room upon the ship, writhed with unhappiness. After so long, it had finally happened; her stomach had grown, making her as big as a house. Yet there was no pleasure in it. Much as there had been no visible or felt symptoms when her stomach was flatter, with the sudden pop came all the lovely side effects, putting the teenager in a constant state of discomfort. Nausea and projectile vomiting were on top of the list, two things which she worked hard to quench down when near others. Only a handful few did she allow herself to show these symptoms in front of, knowing the importance of appearing as her usual self anywhere else.

Black had been the color chosen for the so called event that was to take place, and Aeval had the slaves prepare a gown in the days before the ship set off. Simple, black, with a touch of Endelaan on the upper hem, Nessarose felt as big as she was. "I'm fine," she groaned as she set up, the droids taking away the bucket which was permanently by her bed during travels. A quick wash of the face, a touch of Force, and the ship was landed.

By the time she descended the ship and walked the few feet to the castle's entrance, she was almost radiating.

Cameron fought the urge to roll his eyes with a brief smirk in response to Petra's comments, but he ultimately failed.  Leaning back slightly in his seat, the Sith Lord focused his inquisitive silver-green eyes on the Witch before him.  "Lauda is a dear, but I doubt she's terribly disturbed by my extended absence."  Though the woman did seem forever hungry for knowledge.  Shifting gears to the more important topic at hand, Cameron posed a question to Petra.  "Intriguing about the changes on Dathomir.  How are the various clans, or former clans, of Dathomir taking the outright abolishment of centuries of history and culture?"  From Cameron's point of view, that was more or less what Petra had done.  However, he admitted to himself that he did not know the various ins and outs of this new...societal norm on Dathomir.  Would it present complications to his ultimate goals?  For a brief moment, Cameron shifted his gaze to Kristin, passing her an alluring smile.  Perhaps it won't complicate very much...

As Nessarose's vessel arrived to the little party, Cameron did not break from his conversation with the Cavataios.  Instead, he silently communicated to his slaves to admit the woman and whomever she might have brought with her.  Nessarose would find her reception as Bast Castle much the same as Petra's.  The slaves were quick to afford her every respect and the guards were mostly silent or invisible.  When she'd arrived at the large sitting room, the slave that had escorted her opened the door and motioned for her to enter.

No introduction was made as the slave could see that Lord Illuminus was already engaged in a meeting.

A safety shield was held above her in the brief moments during which she passed through the rain. She asked no questions and made no attempts to converse as she was led to the sitting room. She could feel the presence of both of them during the walk; Cameron, of course, and Petra? She had not known Petra to travel away from Dathomir too often; her being here spoke volumes, but she pushed the dread down, reminding herself that it was only a potential thing. It didn't have to mean anything; her father had remarked more than once on how chaotic the woman could be, though Nessarose wasn't as close to her Aunt as she would have liked in order to know that herself.

Entering the room, she gave all three a bright smile. Knowing one of them well enough, it was too much to imagine that this could be a simply and pleasant family reunion. But there was nothing to keep her for permitting herself a second or two to enjoy it as such. Despite Mira's presence on Endelaan, it was the only thing Nessarose truly lacked on her new home planet; family.

"Good evening," she greeted them, walking over to Kristin first to give her a kiss on the cheek, and then Aunt Petra. To Cameron she offered one as well, though she was fully prepared to simply take a seat should he deny it.

For Kristin, this whole moment was more of a “who the fuck are you” time. She could truthfully say she never met the one that kissed her cheek. It was little unnerving to; however, she kept it friendly with a “Good evening, too.” reply. Now she knew her attention was going to be spent studying the new person and not looking over at Cam to give him flirty looks.

There was a fine answer to Cameron’s question. It was true that the witches had clung to their traditions for almost eight hundred years. However, Petra had been changing it since the day twelve over clans sided with unification. That was going to be the start of her response but a presence arriving caused her to want to hold off for the moment. Nessa’s arrival gave theories on what the Sith Lord desired, but for Petra it was better to hear it than make guesses.

Greeting came and a kiss on the cheek, how it would been nice to have a count on how many times a kiss on the cheek did not end with person back stabbing Petra. Of course those situations ended with Petra giggling madly as the person watched her kill their family. Still giggling, she removed the person’s spine and showed how it would have been if they did pull it off. Then she would end the show and tale with their spine being plunged through their skulls. However, she did have a hope that Nessa was still the girl that she made the blood deal with.

“Good evening, sweetie… lovely to see you again.” Petra warmly replied to Nessa’s greeting. “You arrived right at I was about to give Cameron an answer to his question in regards to my witches.” The addition was to fill in the young woman so what Petra was going to say did not confuse her. Looking back at Cameron, she finally gave the answer. “The Witches have been accepting the changes because it was not done at once. It was done from the time I united the clans to a few months ago when the fog was lifted and truth shined down on them. The truth was they rejected their culture long before I united them and their true one was the way I took them… however, I made it one deity and not two of them.”

Petra’s foot prints on Dathomir dated far back to the battle when she was still in double digits for her age. With half of her blood line being from there, it was on planet that was going to be hers until the last breath was taken by her. She knew how the prisoners had a religion there of two deities and when Allya arrived. Her teaching and the religion mixed into what it was. The witches being idiots and fighting with each other until clans formed was what drove them away from their culture. Petra just brought them back to correct way.

Razelle was on Nessa's heels as she walked into probably the single most dangerous room in the galaxy. Her eyes scanned the room quickly, attempting to note every single individual nook, crevice, and cranny. If she wanted to be of any use whatsoever, she couldn't let anything escape her senses. She doubted she'd be much use if either of the Force-gods in the room attempted something violent, but it was her job to keep Nessa "safe" anyway.

It would probably boil down to her jumping in front of a bunch of lightning to buy the very, very pregnant woman a little extra time.
Even so, she was packing enough weaponry to take on a military bunker, and fully outfitted for combat. It seemed like a token gesture, more to show that she was ready for treachery than to actually defend herself; even a cutting-edge powered combat suit like hers wouldn't do much more than stall the assault of something that could quite literally destroy her with its mind, and blasters had never been of much use against Jedi (or Sith) even before she'd started punching above her weight. Far, far above her weight...
Still, despite her reservations, Raz's movements were as practiced and smooth. She stood alert, though not at parade attention. Though didn't have any of her weapons drawn, three were within easy reach. Her gaze was alert and attentive, but she tried not to look paranoid. Razelle took up a position a few feet behind Nessa, attempting to give her her space while being well within reach if she needed something.
Like, for instance, her chair pulled out.

The Sith Lord glanced up briefly as Nessarose and...someone he recognized only vaguely approached.  For a brief moment, Cameron's silver-green gaze lingered on Razelle.  Shifting his gaze back to the other three women, he smiled hesitantly as Nessarose leaned in to kiss him on the cheek.  The Sith Lord permitted the action, but he did not give it much acknowledgment.  Instead, he reached out his left hand to lightly touch her large belly.  Feeling the presence beneath, Cameron cracked the faintest of smiles as his expression began to melt ever so slightly.

As he always did, the Sith Lord allowed his presence to brush against the unborn fetus.  It was quite important to Cameron that his first grandchild be born without incident...well...grandchildren apparently.  As he removed his hand, the Sith Lord's expression neutralized.  Motioning to an open seat, he shifted his gaze back to Petra - whom had continued to speak while he busied himself interacting with his unborn grandchildren without little more than a glance and an arched eyebrow to their mother.

Offering the nude vision a nod of the head, the Sith Lord absorbed the information.  "Quite interesting.  I'm curious to see what your end game is, but I'm sure we will all just have to wait."  Managing a warm smile, Cameron casually shifted the conversation towards the purpose of everyone's visit.  "You were all, rather your organizations, approached by the Empire under Immortus' control regarding potential alliances and support.  For your own individual reasons, you declined."  Cameron split his gaze equally between all those gathered.  "I'm asking you now to reconsider those decisions.  The Alliance is gone and the Jedi are all but a fading memory.  Our three organizations all have their own goals, and I see no reason why we cannot be of...use to each other."

Cameron did not bother explaining about the leadership changeover within TRE.  They either had heard reports via the holonet that Xaedrin had abdicated or they had not.  In fact, Cameron was fairly certain the press release did not state who the new leader of the Empire was.

As she felt Cameron reaching to touch her stomach, Nessarose stiffened. The last time he had made movements towards her, he had directly threatened the life within her womb. Her free hand twitched, almost ready to signal to Raz that it was time to shoot at anything she could, and just as quickly, Cameron let her go, and Nessarose allowed herself a breath of relief.

Taking a seat, she wondered just how much he knew. She and Petra there... And the two had had their own alliance, signed with blood during the time all thought Cameron and Diomedes dead. Cameron had always had his way of gaining information to things he otherwise shouldn't, but Petra... She could not underestimate her first and currently strongest ally.

Listening quietly, the Queen of the Sanguine Potestatem chewed on her lower lip. Rumors of Immortus' no longer being relevant had reached her, though she could not admit to knowing who currently held the throne, even if it was obvious someone did. And whoever it was, she could be certain that Cameron was pulling his strings, controlling him or her.

For the moment, Nessarose chose to not respond, allowing her silence to linger as she thought on the matter.

There was an idiotic person if ever one existed. Immortus really thought he was better than Petra. He even had the nerve to speak to her daughter like he did. For Petra, Nessa’s little bodyguard was more worthy of her time than that false weak Sith. Anyone that takes the scraps of another’s work was weak and inferior. Taking or creating a seat of power was worthy to have the knowledge of the Sith even it was less there compare to the age of the Sith she came from.

Not forgetting the deal that was made with the daughter of one her Optvius Res. Petra reflected on that and what being seen by the seers. As Cameron had said about the Jedi were all but a faded memory, but memories always resurfaced to one’s mind at bad times. There was a force building that had eyes on Nessa’s people and Cameron’s people. So she had been making it that a force was ready when needed and religious zealot who would die for their deity while blowing up locations.

Petra spoke up finally, even if a couple seconds past that was enough for her. “I’m sure there is a way for us as you said be of use to each other. The question is what do you have in mind exactly, Cameron.”

The Emperor leaned back in his seat as he nodded to Petra.  "The short answer is nothing, Petra.  I did not invite you here to necessarily dive into my overarching strategic goals.  As I'm sure you'll understand, we must all have our secrets for our time.  However, I can tell you that it has to do with...elevating the usefulness of the galaxy.  To us.  Those deemed unworthy will, of course, be swept away."

Pausing for a moment, Cameron managed a thin smile.  "In the wake of destruction and chaos, you force the sentients of the galaxy to rise to the best form of themselves.  Show the galaxy the path towards a better society, way of life.  One based around the undisputed power of the dark side."  Naturally, Petra had a few that followed her and clung to aspects of the light-side of the Force.  For now they remained safe because of arrangements the Sith Lord had previously made with Lauda, and the nature of his relationship with Petra's youngest.

That and...waging a war on Dathomir was something Cameron was loathe to do at the moment.  Either way, Cameron's statement was simple, he was going to usher in a tide of darkness across the galaxy one system at a time if he had to.  Why?  Because he had a responsibility to show those not of power what true power was.  He could only hope they would cultivate a foe worthy of their time in the act.

I am fate.

Secrets were expected among the company that sat before her. There were ones that were held to herself. That being accepted her mind process the rest being said. Petra did find some things to counter while the rest was pleasing enough to approve. She responded, “Of course, why ruin the fun of spilling all the goals and secrets while others hold their in the shadows. Same time sweetie, if we are to reach the end goal of darkness over the galaxy. Then timely reveals will assist us to be on the same page. If accomplished, it will be the first time ever for the Sith.” In a quick run through of her memories two came close Sidious and Krayt but they in the end never capture the entire galaxy.

Picking up after a breath of a pause, Petra gave a maybe wishful idea. “For the unworthy souls… instead of sweeping them away, reeducation and armor would make them lovely meat shields, or a little more time than that and the army marching across galaxy would never be in need of more troops.” Petra had a grin that grew as she expressed one idea from what was said. “The weak is clay that hasn’t been molded and fired but once done they are strong in the desires of what one wanted.” If others wished to denied it than it was their thing, but belief and faith could change even the weakest into a surprising force. One just had to make sure that the weaker had their beliefs aimed at the right direction.

Cameron held up a simple hand as Petra concluded her comments.  "I just want to be...explicitly clear on one fundamental point.  We all draw strength from the dark side in our own way.  With the exception of Witches also manipulating the light side...I'll let it slide for now."  The Sith Lord smirked ever so slightly.  "We can either work together for darkness to prevail, assisting each other when necessary.  Or...we can go it our own and see who comes out on top."  Cameron already knew precisely who his first target would be if that's how they desired to play this game.  It would be entirely counterproductive in the long run.

Leaning back in his seat, he glanced between Petra and Nessarose.  "To this end, I think knowledge is where it all begins.  I am more than willing to open up Sith resources and training to anyone that so desires to...pursue such.  I understand we all have our traditions, and I don't expect very many to be open to stepping outside of said traditions.  On the point of unworthy souls...  I should clarify.  Unworthy are typically those that would serve little other purpose than simple slave labor."  Pausing for a moment, Cameron considered the statement.  "I couldn't care less what happens to said individuals.  If you wish, I can dispatch any I come across and cannot use directly to you, Petra."

I am fate.
